Collaboration at the Heart of Udyamini
At Udyamini.org, we believe that collaboration is the cornerstone of sustainable empowerment. Our work is rooted in the understanding that rural women entrepreneurs (RWEs) thrive when supported by a strong, inclusive, and interconnected ecosystem. That’s why we actively bring together partners, institutions, experts, and communities to co-create pathways for enterprise growth, social mobility, and systemic change.
We work across five key value chains—tea, agriculture & allied sectors, livestock, handloom, and textile—to foster entrepreneurship that is rooted in local strengths and opportunities. Within these value chains, we engage RWEs through incubation, training, market linkages, and digital solutions to help them build resilient and scalable enterprises.
But our collaboration doesn’t stop there.
We also work across cross-cutting themes such as finance, digital inclusion, decentralized renewable energy (DRE), gender justice, social capital, and recognition capital. By integrating these elements, we ensure that our interventions are not only business-focused but also socially impactful, inclusive, and sustainable.
Through RWE Hubs, clusters, and professional forums, we enable dialogue, peer learning, partnerships, and recognition—creating a platform where rural women can raise their voices, influence change, and shape the future of their communities. Together with our partners, we are building an ecosystem that is responsive to the needs of women entrepreneurs and scalable beyond Assam and West Bengal.
Udyamini.org is not just a program—it’s a collaborative movement to redefine what rural women’s entrepreneurship can look like in India.
