Agriculture & Allied
The Udyamini programme is supporting RWEs in the agriculture and allied sector in West Bengal in 6 districts. Nearly 5000 RWEs are covered under this programme in this value chain.

Handloom
The programme seeks to empower nearly 4000 RWEs in the handloom value chain in both Assam and West Bengal. The support is being provided through – skills, training, market access, design and development, raw material access support.

Livestock
Interestingly, the Udyamini programme supports RWEs in Assam who are seeking to develop and promote rural business in this value chain, that includes livestock rearing (goat and others), livestock products and services.

Tea
The programme supports to develop and promote RWEs to come forward to work in the Tea value chain as micro rural entrepreneurs in finished products especially, including making processed tea like green tea.

Digital
The Udyamini programme is focusing on the information and digital services value chain as a means of economic and social empowerment for rural women. Women as information digital entrepreneurs will be serving people and RWEs with critical information, communication, and essential e-gov and digital services.
