Through TGT’s training and mentorship, Gita gained critical knowledge in livestock care, business management, and financial planning. With TGT’s support, Gita expanded her livestock farm, selling her products to maintain her family’s needs. Gita’s determination and hard work led her to explore the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) scheme, which provides financial assistance to entrepreneurs in Assam.
Gita received her first instalment of ₹75,000 under the CMAAA scheme, enabling her to scale up her livestock farming operation. With plans to increase her chicken population and upgrade her farm’s infrastructure, Gita aims to improve livestock care and productivity. Gita’s success is attributed to her involvement with TGT, which provided her with the necessary knowledge and resources to qualify for the CMAAA scheme.
