In the quaint village of Kahibari 2, 28-year-old Dipika Mandal is breaking barriers and defying conventions. As a wife, mother, and entrepreneur, Dipika’s journey is a testament to her unwavering determination and resilience. Despite facing numerous challenges, Dipika’s primary goal remains unchanged – to support her husband and contribute to her household’s income. However, her community’s hesitation to accept new changes and a low response rate from community members threatened to derail her progress. The nature of work in her village added to her challenges, as most people were busy with their own work during the day, leaving children at home. Conducting awareness programs and meetings seemed like an insurmountable task.

The training programs not only enhanced her technical expertise but also boosted her confidence and leadership abilities. Furthermore, exposure visits to various farms and enterprises gave Dipika a broader perspective on entrepreneurship and livestock management. She was inspired by the success stories of other entrepreneurs and gained valuable insights into best practices and innovative strategies.
